Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Christian season of Lent. We will host a join service with CRU on the Minnesota State University Campus. Lent is a season of penance, prayer, fasting, and giving, lasting for 40 days and representing the time Jesus spent fasting in the desert. The service will include worship songs, a message about Lent and prompts to help you reflect, repent, and prepare for the celebration of Easter. We will also place ashes on the forehead in the shape of cross to remind ourselves of the call to repentance and our commitment to God.
